The physical merger of the two previously independent harbours successfully completed a process that has taken us 3 years. It was the first consistent and complete merger of two harbours in this form.

Neuss Düsseldorfer Häfen was established in August 2003 through merger of the then independent operations of the harbours in Neuss and Düsseldorf. By joining, the two former competitors now have an excellent starting position both at national and international level and a firm basis for a secure, sustainable competitive position.
